Seven-Storey Building Collapses in Embakasi

June 12, 2017, 11:17 pm

Some 15 people are feared to be missing after a seven-storey building collapsed in in Kware Pipeline, Embakasi early Tuesday.

Tens of other residents were evacuated moments before the building collapsed.

Witnesses said the building had been condemned after a number of cracks opened up on its walls.

Kenya Red Cross is leading rescue operations at the scene.

Police say they are investigating the matter.
