FA Cup 3rd-round Draw: Man Utd Hosts Reading, Man City Travels to West Ham, Chelsea Gets Easy Opponent

Manchester United will start their defense of the FA Cup with a home tie against Championship side Reading, who are managed by former player Jaap Stam.

Pep Guardiola's first taste of FA Cup action, meanwhile, will come when he takes his Manchester City side to West Ham in one of five all-Premier League ties. Antonio Conte's Chelsea was handed a seemingly easier draw, with Peterborough United or Notts County waiting after a replay

. Elsewhere, Liverpool will host Newport County or Plymouth Argyle and Arsenal will travel to Preston North End as Tottenham host Aston Villa

. The ties will be played between January 6 and 9 in the New Year.
